Privacy policy

This policy covers lppcheyenne.com (the “site”), operated by LaunchPad Properties, 414 W Allison Rd, Cheyenne, WY 82007 (“we”, “us”). We don't sell your personal information. Use of the site is also covered by our terms of use.

Information you give us

We only collect personal information that you choose to send us:

• Contact form: whether you're a renter, owner, investor or vendor, your name, email, phone number (optional), your message, and the listing you asked about, if any.
• Free rent analysis: the property address, property type and number of bedrooms, plus your name, email and phone number (optional).
• Email: anything you send us directly, including job applications and résumés sent from the Careers page.

Analytics, maps and cookies

We use Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google LLC, to understand how visitors find and use the site so we can improve it. Google Analytics uses cookies and similar technology to collect information such as:

• the pages you visit, how long you stay and the links you click;
• the website or search that referred you;
• your browser, device type, operating system and screen size;
• your approximate location (city or region), derived from your IP address.

We see this information as aggregated reports. It does not tell us your name, email or phone number, and we don't combine it with the information you send through our forms. Google processes this data under its own terms; you can read how Google uses information from sites that use its services.

You can limit or stop analytics tracking at any time:

• install the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on;
• block or delete cookies in your browser settings; or
• use a private browsing window or a content blocker.

Do Not Track. Some browsers send a “Do Not Track” signal. There is no common standard for responding to it, so the site does not currently change its behavior when it receives one. The options above let you opt out of analytics.

Maps and Street View. Our rentals map and listing pages use Google Maps. When a map or Street View loads, your browser connects to Google, which receives your IP address and information about your device and how you use the map, and may set cookies. Google handles this under the Google Privacy Policy and the Google Maps terms. Maps load only on pages that show them.

Apart from analytics and maps, the public site doesn't set advertising or tracking cookies.

Saved listings on your device

If you save a rental listing, the list of saved listings is stored in your own browser's local storage. It never leaves your device and we can't see it. Clearing your browser data removes it.

Applications, rent and portals

Rental applications, rent payments and the tenant and owner portals are provided by Rentec Direct, our property management software provider. When you follow those links you leave this site, and the information you enter there is collected and handled by Rentec Direct under its own privacy policy and terms. Rentec Direct pages may use their own analytics, including Google Analytics.

How we use information

• to reply to your messages and requests, and to prepare rent analyses;
• to provide our leasing, property management and real estate services;
• to consider job applications;
• to understand and improve the site, using aggregated analytics; and
• to protect the site from spam and abuse, and to meet legal obligations.

How we share information

We don't sell or rent your personal information. We share it only:

• with service providers that help us run the site and our business, such as our website hosting provider (Microsoft Azure), Google Analytics, Google Maps and our email provider, who may use it only to provide their services to us;
• when you ask us to, for example with an owner, lender or attorney you're working with;
• when required by law, or to protect our rights, our clients or the public; and
• as part of a sale or transfer of our business, subject to this policy.

Retention and security

We keep form submissions and emails for as long as we need them to respond to you, provide our services and keep business records, and then delete them. Analytics data is kept according to the retention settings of our Google Analytics account.

The site is served over an encrypted (HTTPS) connection and access to submissions is limited to authorized staff. No method of storing or sending information is completely secure, so we can't guarantee absolute security.

Your choices

You can ask us to tell you what personal information we hold about you, or to correct or delete it, by emailing llpcheyenne@gmail.com. We may need to keep some records where the law requires it. For analytics, use the opt-out options in Analytics, maps and cookies.

Children and international visitors

The site is not directed to children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their personal information. If you believe a child has sent us information, contact us and we'll delete it.

We're based in the United States. If you use the site from another country, your information will be transferred to, stored and processed in the United States.

Changes and contact

We may update this policy from time to time. We'll post the new version here and change the effective date at the top.
